Talked to the owner of this beautiful SL55 at a car show and ended up doing a small shoot for him. This was my first time doing a shoot for anyone and I think I still have a lot to learn in this area. Criticism welcome to get my creative juices flowing. :D

im digging the last 3 the most. maybe the very last image should have the "kompressor" more in focus? good choice on the b&w!

I'd like to see the wheel turned a little bit in them. See the links in my Sig and...

I would have used a higher F/stop, but other than that, they look great. It is my opinion that there is too much turned wheel in EVERY shot of a car.

I'd rather look at wheels than rubber.

Agree with the wheel comment. Rubber doesn't really do it justice. Rims are just as good to look at as the car.

What I would recommend is try getting a sligtly lower stance and moving out a bit more for a more pleasing 3/4's shot.

Thanks for all the comments! I'll keep the wheel idea in mind for next time.

When you say move out do you mean move towards the side of the car a little more for the 3/4? So for example towards the left in the first photo?

Very nice. He should be happy.

#1 is a little out of focus towards the back. Not sure if that was what you were going for, but maybe use a different aperature.

#3 I would crop out the top portion so you have a solid white background.

As a consumer, I be recommending you. Great location and great layouts.

Here is an example of one shot I took a while back. Needed a bit more depth but just a quick shot for a friend.

Here is my stand point on that:

A turned wheel, to me, pulls attention away from the car itself. I am not saying that turned wheel shots are bad, as I have taken hundreds of them. I am just saying that it is in no way a rule and should never be taken as such.
