Don Hurc's very nice '30 Ford Coupe is running a ported 350, stroked to 383 with a roller cam. Fuel is pushed through a 4.71 blower to an auto trans & a 4.10 rear end. He also has the 3.55 for driving around. Discs, 9" differential; Air & heater; a Nitrous system is hooked up, but has never been used.

It can be yours for $40,000 which is quite a bargain since he has about $70,000 into it.

Sorry, Marie, forgot to answer.:o I doubt that the performance cars have any of the old mechanical parts left for safety reasons. On the "Original" cars, things like a single master cylinder for the brakes are upgraded to dual cylinders, but the owners keep the originals in case they sell the car.
The I-net is also a great source for original parts, too. For parts that you can't get at all, some owners have been known to make their own from scratch!

I like that all the fenders are in place; the paint job exagerates this. It makes the car look big, and long. I hope the trunklid is ajar in the last, as I would expect the shutlines for this part to as good as the rest of the car. The top end of the motor is nicely detailed - lots of billet. Oh yeah, and nice photos as usual!

Still $40,000, as I said at the top. ;):D

I hope the trunklid is ajar in the last,

It was. You don't touch these cars, Don had walked away, & I forgot to come back later to get a closed shot.

Thanks, everyone.

Well, you can touch them, but you'll have some splainin' to do, and might go home with a fat lip. Not to mention it's incredibly disrepectful to come within few feet without asking.

(quietly removing reading glasses.. cleaning lenses.. replacing reading glasses.. using cleaning tissue on smudged monitor.. scrolling to top of thread.. reading again...)
(my how much question was inspired by cjm's post and your questioning answer... guess I was only looking at the car on the top of the page.. and after I was dazzled.. I read some of the replies... )
