Are they that dismal?

#2 is all wrong. What is the subject? What story is there? Who is it? What is she doing? Get the point?

#1 is good.

Not that dismal, just not much of anything happening here. I am sure there is a story behind the stickers on the helmet (HRs? Hits?) First image looks like a shot from warm-ups (no real intensity in eyes). Try and capture more action or post more from the game with action along with some "stock" shots.

I could care less about a story I want to see action not the back of a helmet.

Appreciate everyones comments and thoughts, yes the first photo is from pre-game, will try to avoid those in the future. The second photo was intended to suggest a star athlete, but it did not get across it seems. Again appreciate you all's thoughts. Thanks, Pete
