Took these snapshots of my kiddos. What could I do better? The sun was not friend this day :)!

1st welcome! and adorable kiddos! I like the feel of #1, it seems a little blown out, but that might work, the only problem I have is that all the photos seem a little overly sharpened, the last one is cute, but it looks like it may have been very sunny out that day and it created a little bit of squinting as well as hot spots, it might be somewhat fixable upon editing though!

These are very cute photos. Agree with OP about them being a little oversharpened and overexposed. It's a real battle taking photos of your own children - I find that most of the times when I'm outside with them and have time to shoot, it's the middle of the day when the sun makes things difficult. I always try to look for some shade as that makes things a little easier.

Welcome to POTN - you'll get lots of inspiration and helpful comments here.

The eyes seems really weird to me for some reason. Can't quite put my finger on it. Great photos, though! Welcome!

The eyes are very weird, don't know what you've done with them but look totally unreal. Not bad shots though for a bright day.

They are a bit overexposed indeed and +2 about the eyes, specially #2. Were these shoot in RAW?

I love the first one. The feeling it has that pretty face. The second one has lots of problems and there just isn't much you can do to save it. The last one is cute too. Keep posting.
