My first time ever to attempt racing and to ever go to a track but my work gave me a free pass so here is a few

they are all a little too tightly composed for my tastes, especially #2, the front wheel is clipped.

I wish I could have gone, first BMP Grand Am race I have missed in 5 years.

Pretty good shots, where were you to be able to get low shots without the fence in the way?

i was using the canon 70-200 IS lens with a 1.4 extender. Here is a gallery for all of the pics

there is merit to both types of shot, drivers and teams generally like the tighter shot...but they don't tell as much of a story, or depict as much action, as a wider angle pan, giving the car somewhere to go. All in developing a style, and a portrayal of the event.
