Long story so here is the short:
- I received camera. (gray market w mack 3yr warr)
- Camera worked great for 1 & 1/2 days.
- Started to take COMPLETELY dark pictures, then regular pictures, then COMPLETE dark pictures.
- Then COMPLETELY DARK PICTURES no matter what I did.
- Then I took a look at the shutter when the exposures are made the shutters did not leaving an openning big enough for me to see, even when its set for 1 sec or longer.
- 1 day later, got desperate light tapped the bottom of the camera (just with the SOFT palm of my hand against the hard bottom of the the $2000+ camera).
- WOW it started working. Regular exposures.
- Then next day 3 more dark pictures in a row.
- Then now 1 week later, all regular picture.
Has this happened to anyone else?
I am sending the camera back for an exchange, Betty & DeltaInternational is extremely nice and understanding about my fear of the camera acting up in the future.
