#3: was... B800 right and in front of model at 1/2 power through white umbrella. & a B800 behind the model bare at 1/4 power aimed slightly down at her back/ground.

Ahhh

got it. i forgot you got sum BBBB's. thats a nice shot. looks like it was pitch black. i didnt see a stand so was the back lit from the side to her left,,i see the light stream now,,,,,,cool shot,,,in memory bank:cool:

Man, that bokeh is horrible. Gives me a headache, but I guess it fits with an image of razor wire. This seems to be more of a lens thread than body fanboys. At least I find myself looking for clues on which lens was used. It's nice to see images using all the glass provided, not just the middle.

Thanks. The exposure was 30 seconds long, although from the ripples in the water I'd have guessed shorter..

BTW, I noticed you have the 28-75 tamron and the 17-40 L. I've got the Tamron and I plan on switching to the L for the focal length, but was curious how they compare IQ wise in your opinion?

Well, this morning a saw this clip (external link) with Ansel Adams being interviewed and got inspired. 50/1.8@5.6, 1/250, ISO 200. B&W-conversion in LR 3 (Green filter).
