Are there any other non-L lenses worth pairing up with the 5d?
(I had an 85 1.8 once, but sold it as it was too long on my 400d.)
That one^^^^
And the 100mm non L macro.

(I had an 85 1.8 once, but sold it as it was too long on my 400d.) Well, the only non-L lenses I've used much of late has been the 50 f/1.4 and the 100 f/2.8 Macro. The 50 is actually a good lens but without the bokeh of course of the L. Check out the lens sample archives and see if something appeals to you. Sadly, someone dropped mine a couple months ago and I have to take it apart to do a "fix" on the AF "holders". Tony

Makes for a great portrait kit or for a little breathing room during weddings. Although I would love to get the 85L Eric Darlington Photography
