Ever try just a little fill flash (maybe 1/3 to 1/2 power) just to put some pop in the spray? Thanks Jay for the suggestion. I will definitely give it a try.

(I had an 85 1.8 once, but sold it as it was too long on my 400d.) I recently purchased the 50l. Many people have said that the Sigma 50 is very close in comparison, and if true, you will love it. That is if you get a good copy, may have to have it calibrated, and you like the focal length. I know Brett has always spoken very highly of his copy along with many others. Is the Sigma version worth getting over the Canon? Jo
