Love your coastal shots Lostid...

Ever try just a little fill flash (maybe 1/3 to 1/2 power) just to put some pop in the spray?

Thanks Jay for the suggestion. I will definitely give it a try.

Here is another shot from this evening at the same spot.

Just beautiful Allen. I really love "your" shots. You always have very appealing and pleasing composition to your work. Thanks for sharing.

Are there any other non-L lenses worth pairing up with the 5d?

(I had an 85 1.8 once, but sold it as it was too long on my 400d.)

I recently purchased the 50l. Many people have said that the Sigma 50 is very close in comparison, and if true, you will love it. That is if you get a good copy, may have to have it calibrated, and you like the focal length. I know Brett has always spoken very highly of his copy along with many others.

the 100 f/2 is pretty solid, my favorite lens for sure, but it won't beat that 135 though

The 100 F/2 is on my 5D more than any other lens. But I have heard nothing but raves about the 135. It's definitely on my radar.

Thanks. I still have my 50mm f/1.8 although I'll most likely sell it as I've just bought the f/1.4 version. Is the Sigma version worth getting over the Canon?

I had a Sigma 30mm lens on my 400d and had no end of focus problems with it :(
