To paraphrase the oft repeated post. The sigma 50 is the best fifty ever, as long as you get a good copy, I only had to send mine in 3 times to get it calibrated.....

thanks guys! Just a quick candid with the 135L @ f/2 while I was waiting for the woman to cross the stage at the pageant. Here is a quick one of her walking across the stage btw, nothing impressive. I dont like doing stuff like this, I like more candid and posed stuff but her family wanted some....2nd place out of 34.

Thanks! A bicycle race was about to start and the police was just there to keep an eye on things. They are usually very nice and friendly, at least here in Trondheim. I guess it's the same in Oslo, even though they probably have more crimes to handle there. I don't know what the two girls were doing, but they chatted with the police men and then moved on.

I'm not too surprised to hear that. The opera house must be the most photographed item in Oslo at this time. I had only visited Oslo once before, in 2005 just after we moved to Norway from Sweden, which was before the opera was built.
