Nice shots. How was the experience shooting a wedding for your first time?

First time trying out anything with textures. C&C welcome. Catchlights bother anyone?

Thanks! It was a great experience but things comes and goes pretty quick so have to be alert at all times, tiring job!

Love the catchlights btw, looks good ;)

That's the best

My wife [jokingly] says I use her like a mule. If I can't decide what to take, I take too much, and whatever doesn't fit in my bag I put in her purse.

same here! my gf's purse is always full of my sh*t

LOL, I don't do that. My wife wants to start taking pictures as well (she's reading the XSi manual now), but absolutely hates camera bags. Maybe a Kelly Moore bag is in order for her.

Sounds like she needs a jill-e bag. I'm SO not girly, but I really want one of these ;) http://www.jill-e.com …_small/what_fits_sml.html (external link)

My wife LOVES to take pictures, so she doesn't mind (usually).

She loved the T1i, she doesn't like the 5D (too big, different controls, etc.). But she has a film camera (Practika MLT-5 or something of the sort) which she usually takes with her when we go out to take pictures.

Hard to post anything here because the shots everyone else posts are so freaking good! Took the 5D to Vegas. The two night shots were handheld at pretty slow shutter speeds for me.

Vegas at night ... f/3.5 @ 1/125

Eiffel Tower by day late afternoon. The 50mm f/1.4 took this one at 1/640

Lovely wife who took me here for my 50th birthday. What a gal! No flash. Straight up lens at around f/2.5 handheld at 1/100.

As always, they look way sharper before photobucket softens them!

I love mine. The only thing is that you cannot put a body in it. Just lenses and assorted necessities.

With school, I hardly have time to take photos, so I used today as a great opportunity.

Today we had a dance off for Senior Appreciation Day, horrible lighting but ISO 3200 handled it like a champ!
