Hi I`m a new member and have been shooting with a 20D which I upgraded to a 40D. I then bought a 5D refurb from Adorama. I love the 5D!!! I use the 40D with a 70-200 f2.8L because I like the 1.6 multiplier effect for wildlife shots. I use a 24-105 f4L IS on the 5D for full wideangle shots. I do change them around when the situation calls for it. Have been considering a 7D to add to the mix.I have been shooting film for over 35 years (Canon systems) and have switched everything over to digital. It makes life so much easier. I love digital!!!!!

Hey, welcome to the "club"! The 5D definitely has an appeal to former film users. It kinda "fits" well!

Wow. I hate to do this as I just bought her but I'm letting her go because of a great deal on the Mark II.

Here is the for sale thread. Great condition 5Dc + OEM Grip for $1000 plus shipping and fees. Truly a great camera.
