Lovely pics everyone and thanks for the welcomes. :)

Apologies if this has been covered before, but are there any recommendations for a decent third party grip for the 5D, or should I just stump up for the Canon one?

Thanks

Years back I used my A1 in very cold conditions (<-40 degrees) a number of times. The camera & lens worked fine though a bit sluggishly, but the battery only lasted 10 or so shots before it started to give out. So I kept a couple of spares next to my skin and swapped them out frequently. That's what I'd do with my 5D, though the occasion hasn't arisen yet.

5D & 7D (both gripped), 24-105L, 100-400L, 15-85, 50 f1.8, Tamron 28-75, Sigma 12-24, G10, EX-Z55 & U/W housing, A1+10 lenses, tripods, lighting gear, etc. etc.

Have anyone tried NIKKOR-S Auto 35mm 2.8 with nikon-eos adapter?
If not, does anybody know will it work?(will the mirror have space to clunk?)

I have used a nikon to eos adapter with old pre/AI lenses: 300/4.5, 50/1.4, and a tokina 28/2.8. I haven't had any trouble with them.

hope this helps.
