Nice composition and exposure. Its a shame that that it cant be displayed here in a size that it deserves.

I'm not as fancy as you guys who have a hosting service

Photobucket downsizes them... flicker downsizes them (unless you have a paid membership). tinypic is slightly larger http://i43.tinypic.com/2hrn1tx.jpg (external link)

Any other free sites where I can upload it to? The original is 14061x2563

Thanks, the tinypic link made a big difference. Nice shot. I need to force myself to try some panorama's. Although the prairie looks vaguely the same from all directions so why bother? :)

 I haven't had a need for panorama's around DC yet... I've been meaning to do one in NYC for a long time, but everytime I'd drive up to see my folks I'd run out of time....

My next panorama attempt will probably be from the NJ side and see if it's more or less interesting...:)

Surely there is an interesting Panorama to be made somewhere on the mall. My memories are faulty as its been nearly 25 years since I've been there, but Surely with all those monuments clogging up the park something could work.

That's a great way to put it

The mall would be one of the places where they would allow tripods (for a panorama shot)... I get yelled at quite often for using tripods in the monuments though.

How exciting. :D

You have a great natural light camera. I'm not sure what primes you have, but you should be able to get all the shots you want with a fast prime and window light.

Congrats again. :)

yeah i have the 16-35 2.8, 50 1.4, and a 24-105 f4. But nothing wrong with bumping up the ISO on the 5d! ha ha I almost prefer to shoot at 3200 cause i LOVE "grain" since I was a film shooter. ha ha
