A "LITTLE" surprise today

While roaming around the yard today looking for something to shoot, I spied a broken egg in the back corner of the coop and thought; those chickens are getting REALLY clutzy. Boy, was I wrong.

What a suprise, love the expression on the hen in the second pic. Looks like alot of those are going to hatch, hope you wanted more

We raise ducks back home, usually the ones that look pinkish (thin shells) are ones that would hatch. If that's the case you're going to have quite a few of them

Thanks for the heads up. I hope they ALL hatch. (Beef up the ranks for next years layers.)
I've got a few friends that LOVE getting eggs from me, as so far, the layers are all Banties. Something about fresh Banty eggs they like.
