Quick test photos with new lens

Just wanted to try out the new Canon EF 400mm f/5.6 before heading back to work. These were quickly converted in CS4 and uploaded to my site. I know the pose quality isn't the best by any means but more concerned about focus accuracy with the 7D at f/5.6.

What you have is an excellent combo of body and lens. Do the micro-adjustment and you'll be well pleased. This is already a good start. Congrats.

Seems like a sharp copy, Mine did not need any adjustment, it just needs good light :) Congrats and enjoy...
