I quietly approached this bird and was fortunate to get close without disturbing it.

This photo was taken at the Virginia Key Beach Park in Key Biscayne Florida.

That is a green heron, but I hope you got permission, he seems to be copyrighted. You need a model release or something.

Thanks guys. I thought it was a little or least bittern. But I found out it couldn't be since it does not have a yellow bill or yellow eyes.
