Just for the record:

When the camera diopter adjustment wheel is set at "neutral" (which is actually -1 diopter), the virtual distance of the focusing screen is set at one meter from your eye. So you need whatever vision correction is necessary for you to see sharply at one meter.

I try to have my contacts on when i shoot. If i have my glasses on, through the glasses.

Glasses on and looking through - I can't see a thing without them unless it is a couple inches from my eyes...

Live View works fine in those circumstances.

90% of the time I shoot with them off and the diopter is set to 3 clicks down from the top.

Hasselblad 201F - Impossible to use the WLF without glasses.
Nikon F3HP - Impossible to use without glasses.
