:) First piece of L glass!!! :) LOL I did order the NON IS version... I hope Im happy with it! I better be!! What do you guys think of this glass? From the research I have done I think it will do what I want... :D I could not afford the IS version...

I shoot portraits, events, and weddings mainly...

Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow! Squee!!!! I'm SUPER exited.. I think we're going to have great lenses! I'm not too worried about the lack of IS.

I use mine for studio and location beauty. if you look at my website you can see it does its job. its a great lens, i dont need IS imo. and I love being able to use 2.8 instead of f4

I can't imagine this lens without IS, which increases its usefulness by a great margin. Personally, I would have put that money toward the IS model.
