Did you take this with your Digital Rebel? Also, what lens did you use with this, the 100mm 2.8 macro? This is such a nice shot!!!


Have a new camera PowerShot sx410 canon. Loving it and back again to keep learning and enjoying Photography.

very sharp shot..great dof ......... (what aperture did you have the lens set at? and how far away were you) i'm currently saving for either the canon 100mm macro or the sigma 105 ex dg.......
not really sure which is the best way to go as both produce stunning results and get great reviews, you have so clearly demonstrated this greatness with the canon lens....

Thanks for the wonderful words of encouragement. Chemicalbro, this was shot at f11. I liked this shot because of the texture and subtle color of the wet wood.
