100 percent crop or 100 percent of the image there is a big difference. Nice looking butterfly here with good colors and a pretty nice background here also. Looks like a species we have here called a Zebra longwing. Image maybe could use a little more sharpening but otherwise a very nice first macro image here.

No a 100 percent crop means you have cropped the image so that one pixel is is one pixel a 1 to 1 ratio many people will do that to show how sharp an image is which in the case of a 6 mega pixel camera would mean you were only showing about 700 x 500 pixels out of the 3,000 x 2000 that are available.

doesn't matter how much you cropped it, it still loks great.

That is really beautiful. Everything thing about this picture feels perfect to me, the dof, the color patterns it makes in the background, complement the colors in the butterfly, the composition, the framing. I really like this:)
