A whole episode of 'House' shot on a DSLR

A Canon 5D MKII to be precise, wow, must of taken a lot of cameras/memory cards to do that

Lots of CF for sure but only one camera. Pretty sure House is produced "Film Style."

The producer said the show was shot on the camera. Is that possible ?

Of course it's possible. 1080p is 1080p regardless of the source.

The big difference for this type of production is that instead of "hand holding" or using a Zacuto rig or similar, they're using dollies and jibs that cost tens of thousands of dollars and weigh hundreds of pounds so the shots are rock steady (unless the script calls for a "hand-held" "newsie" look to the footage.)

IIRC, they were going to use most of the L primes as well as the 24-70 f/2.8 and the 70-200 f/2.8

I can't wait to watch it, I want to see WHY they used it, if there is any real difference vs the "pro" stuff.

And they took the same care lighting the shot & acquiring the sound as they would for any other episode.

I love the House series, can't wait to see this episode.
