I've been trolling for a G11. Found one BIN on eBay at a good price. Went to Bing and searched for G11 only to find NO CASH BACK OFFER

???

I search for a few other things and finally found if I searched for "Wii" I was offered 8% cashback. I clicked the e-bay link and bought my new G11, earning 8% in the process. Then the really cool part. I was instantly credited the 8% in my PayPal account.

No waiting 60 days. Gotta love it!

I think the instant CB depends on if the seller participates in the program. Many sellers offer instant cashback process through Bing. That's always a good thing :)

These are the sellers who I have received instant cashback from in the last month:

PMI
The Imaging World
Beach

These still are the same ol' 60 day wait:

Cameta
Adorama

Even though Adorama isn't instant I go with them first for gear on eBay with cashback. PMI and Beach take several business days to ship.

Yea, my purchase was from Beach. That is the first non B&H-Adorama-Amazon purchase I've made in over 2 years.

How long did they take to ship? I made my purchase early on a Wed and they didn't ship until the following Monday.

Unknown OM. I did the BIN on Friday night. I'm not expecting it to ship until Mon or Tue at the earliest, but from what you're saying, they may not ship until Wed or Thurs. Oh, well, I'm OK with that. My new-to-me 24-70 arrived early this week so I'll have plenty of toys to play with for now.

I think among the reputable authorized dealers they're the cheapest even considering their shipping charge. I have another order in with them I placed this weekend, the 24L and 85L. This time around I'm not in a big rush so it won't bother me. I'm busy photographing a bunch of ham gear I'm going to sell to fund my new glass addiction. ;)

I've toyed with selling my ham gear since I've been QRT for over a year, but cycle 24 is starting to move a bit and the bands are opening a bit.

And that bug & straight key are sitting there calling to me (manual CW is my passion) so ... for now, the rig will stay.

I'll let y'all know when the Beach order ships.

I'll keep one HF rig and the VHF/UHF stuff but the Yaesu 897-D and the amp are going along with a lot of misc. equipment I haven't used in years. I love CW, I learned on a Vibroplex paddle and that's all I have now for keys.

Beach camera update - Got the happy-dance "Your Package has Shipped" message today. So I did the BIN on Friday night, got a low price, instant 8% rebate and the camera ships today, Monday, with an estimated arrival of tomorrow.

Sweeeeet!

Yea, I have only 1 rig - K3/10 with 2 CW filters. That plus my 32' vertical and 3 keys (Junker straight, Vibroplex bug, Kent paddles). I used to think it was an expensive hobby. Suddenly, the $1500 I spent on a brand new rig looks cheap :-)

My dad uses a bug and tried to get me to use one as a kid and I just never got the hang of the bug. I started with a SK and moved on to the paddle once I got up around 15WPM.

(Sorry to all the non-hams here who no clue as to what I just wrote ;))

I got the shipping notices from Beach for both the 24L and 85L today so they will be here Wednesday. Purchased them on eBay with the same instant Bing cashback, eBay bucks, and 1.25% on my credit card. Life is good. :)

Last time I bought from them it was, about a week and a half ago.
