Hmmmm, thinking about one of these as a small everyday bag when I don't want to haul all my gear around, but it looks like it could be a bit tight for a gripped 7D...

Just recieved the bag!

First impression is that it's smaller than i thought it would be! Still a nice bag though, fits my gripped 450D and sigma 17-70 without any problems + my other lens and much other stuff like batterys, keys, remote, drink etc.

The only thing i never saw that was mentioned about this bag that i think is important to know of, is that the strap can't be detached so you can add a shoulder pad. You need to have a shoulderpad that is one of those that wraps around and not one of those that slides in at one end.

For the money, it's a really nice bag though!
All i need now is to get another shoulder pad!

I only wish the strap was padded.

For a few bucks at your local military surplus store, that wish can turn into reality!

Bag prices are back to $26 shipped. I have a question, does this bag feature additional slip lock attachments for lowepro accessories?

This bag has a much better appeal than shelling out $140+ for a shootsac which is essentially the same thing, just more marketing hype.

It doesn't have the sliplock attachment slots.

The biggest thing that sucks and I'm working on a way to fix it.

If your bottle's not that big, you can just tighten the cord and attach the pouch to the shoulder strap yeah?

The sides and construction will not adequately support pouches even with sewn DIY attachment points. You'll get sag or pulling away.

If it gets the job done, to hold a water bottle or something else, it works. How well it works is another issue altogether, and for something that's under 30 USD, should we really have the right to ask for more at the same price?

Can't see how the bag would sag or anything if you attach a strap to the shoulder pad strap to hand a slip lock bottle onto it. I bet the gear inside the bag weighs more than the drink if you're not hooking up a 2 quart coca cola bottle onto it, hehe..

Still happy with my bag, it has taken ALOT of usage and still looks like new, nothing has broken or looks like it's on the way to get broken either, which is great!

The only downside atm is that i recently got a 70-200L f2.8 IS and togheter with my gripped 450D and flash it's very tight inside the bag when you have spare batterys for the camera and the flash, besides keys, remote and misc very small stuff. Atleast when i don't wanna dissassemble the lens from the camera, otherwise it's no problem, but i preffer to just pick up the camera and be ready to go instead of mucking around!

Btw, i'm gonna stitch a should pad onto the middle section of the shoulder strap and see how that works out, should be good working out fine!

Quick, maybe use the LP for light duty days and score another kind of bag to handle gear with your new additions.

That's what I do. This bag is great for just the simple things. My camera with an extra lens and flash that's it. When I need to bring more I use my lp. Stealth reporter.
