Are you serious? It's $26... as bags go, that's not expensive at all.

In the Uk they are selling for £50...which is mad.

you guys think you can put a tenba insert in it to add some more protection?

Headshotzx wrote in post #10164446 (external link)
Perhaps you can compare the dimensions of the tenba insert you're interested in with the official interior specs of the messenger?

going by the specs it looks a bit tight, but that doesn't mean it might not work and be very snug:

exchange messenger (external link): inside 11.8 x 4.7 x 8.1" outside 13 x 5.7 x 9.4"
tenba insert (external link): 12 x 4.5 x 9"

I've bought one. It's perfect. I cant believe what it can handle. I can fit my 50 with 17-55 attached, a 10-22 AND a 70-200 F4 IS.

I've got the blue one. Looks cool :D

Just got one today, been at best buy so many times and never looked at their bags! I always thought they just carried a bunch of canon/nikon bags, case logics, and lowepro slingshot 100aw. I been looking into the 5/6MDH since I have lightened up my gear but this one is way slicker! I thought the Crumpler to be a little too boxy. This messenger looks good filled up and not heavy what so ever! I can fit my t2i gripped with 24-105L with hood on not reversed, 70-200l f/4 IS, 580exii. Just the minimal gear I need. I have a tamrac backpack if I want to hall all my strobes/stands/umbrellas/second body. I plan to stack my soon to be 85 1.8 and 35 f/2 and I think that would still be managable. Great simple bag!

Currently I use it as my everyday go-to bag. It can fit my 13" macbook, or school A4 lecture notes, or a jacket + bottle for day outs, or my camera gear.

And it cost me S$33

One great bag indeed!

how are you putting your macbook in there? Are you not using the velco pads?

I picked one up a couple weeks ago and really like it so far. It's a great 'working' bag. For travel, I'll stick with my Fastpack 250 and then swap out to the exchange once I get to my destination. That combo is working out really well for me. Especially awesome is the fact that the Exchange can flatten down and be packed away easily when needed.

Thanks for the great review Headshotzx!

Took it out hiking at the falls here in oregon. It worked great! I like how it wraps around your body when carrying it. It allows me to easly access my gear.

Nope, just slot the MB in without any dividers. I can slot that and the charger inside no problem. My macbook already has a soft-padded shell so padding's not a problem.

Agreed. I often do that with my think tank shapeshifter's laptop compartment. Bring to location, unpack, put lenses into exchange messenger, move out.

Nice review i got mine today i was able to 'tetris-fit' a 7D with Grip and 17-50 attached, 70-200 2.8L, 50mm 1.4 & 580EXii inside extra batteries for slr and flash mobile phone and business cards on front pockets ! of course it's a lot of gear for such small bag but most of the time the gripped camera with attached lens will be at hand or neck!
here a few pics!:

lol nice tetris setup ;)

I really wish this bag cam with better dividers or maybe even 1 more haha. I like the dividers that have the flaps on the top for the slr
