Raw files no longer load (Ubuntu)

I changed the colour space on my 7D from sRGB to Adobe RGB. After doing so UFRaw, or any other raw editor I have installed, loads raw files like this:

HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO

This is a jpeg (I shoot both raw and jpeg) of the same image straight from camera.

What profile are you using for the camera? (No profile, color matrix...etc)

This is happening with all raw shots in various settings.

when you click the color management button what does it look like??

certainly seems to be some type of profile issue -- your green for white balance is maxed out which just has to be wrong for one thing....

Changing settings in the colour management tab doesn't do anything positive. Because this happens in each raw editor on my computer (set to default settings) I don't think it has to do with a setting in an app.

Well I would say your raw files are corrupted then...

I considered that possibility so I tried using 3 different CF cards and all came up with the same result. I highly doubt it's the camera, how could it be just me having this problem if it were a problem with the camera?

My initial thought was a memory issue - but you can load older files and that seems to rule that out.

Try this -- copy one of your older raw files to a new name --- does it load fine?

Have you changed how you upload your files in any way??

An older file that worked still works after being renamed. Other than changing the colour profile as I said in the OP I've changed nothing else.

I found someone else using Ubuntu that *may* have the same issue, tough to tell.

sounds the same... purplish rectangle.

I just tried switching from sRGB to adobeRGB with my 7D and it uploaded to ufraw perfectly.. so I doubt that is the issue.

Huh. Rawtherapee works... Too bad it's so friggen slow on my computer.

Can you post a link to one of these raw files?

They're 7D sized... you really want one? Guess I could put one on one of those rapidshare type sites.
