Link to my website is in my sig - a whole bunch of racing and motorsport galleries from The Algarve in there, looking to put more stuff in there soon too like portraits, landscapes, wildlife, and everything else I have been up to lately which I have not yet got round to publishing properly. Comments / critique welcome ;)

The only thing I can see that I would feel compelled to immediately change would be the fonts on the buttons/menus. Your logo is slim & sleek, but the rest of the font isn't cohesive with your "image," upon initial impression. If that's the only thing that's catching the eye, I'd say you pretty much kicked butt! Great job! (did you do it yourself?)

Landscape, Macro, Sport are my main focus' (excuse the terrible photography pun!).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated as all views so far are family and friends who are nice, but not terribely helpful for development.

Cheers,
Kf

Hi Ken,
I feel completely unqualified to offer a critique - but I will anyway. :)
Your website has the look and feel of a thousand other sites - and maybe that's ok if all you're wanting is some place where people can go to look at your photos (which are very nice BTW). But have you considered paying for your own domain and creating your own unique presentation?
Garry

Thought about it multiple times Garry, have started and stopped countless times as well. Lack of time is the major reason, or excuse I suppose. Thanks for the FB.

Thanks Bettye!! Yes, I did it myself (though it's smugmug-based)..I'll take a look at the fonts, I tried to make them browser generic, which perhaps is not the right idea.. images of the words might be better... I'm terrible when it comes to layout and design, so you could very well be right. Thanks for the kind words, and the suggestion.

Edit - navigation bar replaced! :) Now to see about the actual text..

Hello!

Made a new website, two languages.

http://www.sapevanderploegfotografie.com/ehome.html (external link)

Kept it rather simple, but functional.

Please tell me wat you think, and/or leave a reply in the guestbook.

Thanks in advance.:)
