Colors are dull, there's no focus to anything… What are we looking at?

both shots seem pretty soft

The first one could do with some saturation and the second one with some contrast. Both are not really thrilling compositions. - the first one better than the second (cows).

I'm only going to comment on one specific image. There's no relationship between the other images one to the other. I would prefer that each image was on its own thread. But what do I know--I'm just an 800-lb gorilla

The first image is a good exercise in semitry of line. Great capture. Great composition. You did good.

The shots do seem a bit soft. I do like the cows. The dark b&w shot creates a nice eerie mood.
