One option is to clean it up a little more so that any light from the windows, doorways and any light washing on the structure could be cloned out so that the silhouette portion is completely dark (leaving the golden tree and the ground around it, plus the curb/path as they are). You have a nice L-shaped points of interest, starting with the moon, the planet (venus?) silhouette of the telegraph poles as the fulcrum, and the tree. What happens if lighten the photo by about 1/3 to 1/2 exposure?

If it's in focus, it's pornography, if it's out of focus, it's art.

Thanks for the comment. If I lighten it up a bit, it overexpose the highlight on the leaves. The leaves on the tree are directly below the street lamp post .

Great warm/cool contrast between sky and tree. Sorry I don't have more technical input :)

Very cool Flo! I intentionally left the lights on the background (houses windows) to get a good view of the lady in a thong...but everyone here agree to blacken the background. I think I`ll let go of her for now...=)

Post a link so we can see her in original resolution and then we'll discuss the issue.

@Flo,

Thanks for making it happen. I would keep the bottom edge as per original and not crop it, but would that push the moon too close to the top edge?

AWGD8 ... I view image versions like software and music mixes ... you get close enough that it works well but may never reach the ultimate satisfaction originally intended.

Here is a version that shifts the subject relationships. This version could lead one to believe that the moon lit the tree. It can't from that distance in that phase but photography sometimes is about creating a convincing illusion. Note I removed the intersection of the trunk/foliage point and the mountains in the background.

Thanks to Flo for providing the version for this edit.
