Hi!

Here is something else, like my previous posts. I decided to give IR another chance... Im not sure about the result... Please give some feedback!

As you might suggest, I tried to crop the bottom corner with the leafs, but that way the picture lost a lot from his depth.

Thank you for your time and comments!

I love the photo. If anything bugs me it's the left-middle skyline that looks a bit blown. But then I am on an uncalibrated netbook. Otherwise a beautiful shot. What place is it ?

Wow!! This is a real place? It's more like a dream! I see no blown out areas on my laptop and dont worry bout that bunch of leaves you spoke of. Those leaves need to be there or the pic loses deapth and the layering effect you got.

I like it. It looks like something out of a fairy tale. What do you think if you crop it to just below the reflection of the castle in the water? I don't think the plants in the foreground contribute to the image.

lovely work! I'm curious as to what method you used to turn everything green to white as that seems to be way better than a simple color selection.

PP work is very nice. A little unnatural for my tastes but you def. have accomplished a great effect with the editing.

I have a calibrated monitor, and nothing looks blown out to me. :)

Nice work.

He took the first photo (wherein everything is white) in the infrared spectrum. It is certainly not a work of post-processing!

I personally love both of the shots. It looks beautiful in just IR and looks pretty 'magical' in the color.

Great composition, where abouts was this if you don't mind me asking? probably on the other side of the ocean

Ever think of doing a blend of both renditions? I like the IR tone for the building and atmospheric but wonder how some green blended back into the trees might look.

I assumed the first was in IR, however, it is confusing when you post a "color version" with the exact same framing and angle of view.

I like the IR. It gives the castle a bit of a fantasy feel to it. The color shot is stunning too!
