It's a unique camera, and for less than 200 bucks you could do a lot worse. It's probably the cheapest compact superzoom that can go 100% fully manual. It's no low-light camera, but in decent light it can get excellent shots.

I figured since the Sx100 and SX110 threads are long gone, and since few people even bought the SX120, I'd just combine them all into one thread to see what we get.

I had the SX110 a year ago, got rid of it in May, but just recently found a brand new one at Office Depot for 129 bucks, so I bought it again. Sure, DSLRs are fun, but this baby is lots of fun too, and does quite well.

I'll start off with a few from my SX110 IS. The third picture was heavily processed to get rid of noise (iso 400) and the last picture is a macro of a pair of Levis:

Great pictures, I love the first one!

I love my SX110. Even though I've recently gotten a SX20, I can't bring myself to sell the SX110. Here are a few pictures taken with the SX110 :)

Great pics, first one is a bit too close-up for me. Grins nervously. The SX110 is a great camera, I still use mine.

Good thread combining these great sx's. Today I was playing with bokeh at f/3.5 on my sx110.

That's amazing. At least I know what my SX100 is capable of.

Wanted to see what the 0.3 MP (640x480) setting was like, so took these in that mode.

Not too bad considering that my cell phone has a 1.3 MP camera and could never produce anything close to this, even with an extra megapixel.

Here's one at the full resolution 8.0 MP mode (resized). I'm not a photographer (as you can probably tell), just like taking pictures with this camera now and then.
