Backrounds are way blown out and a bit distracting. A smaller aperature would have helped a little, maybe even a low ND filter

Whats the specs. Camera/lens/Iso/SS/Fstop?

In terms of composition i like #3, all need some PP in the blown out areas

No offense, but there are a lot of distractions going on in the pictures. Lens flare, blown sky, "amputated" body parts, blown highlights, distractions in the backgrounds, tilted horizon (I know this is "popular", but its too often overdone). They're basically snapshots of friends/family members spending a day on the beach, which is not derogatory (just an opinion on the artistic/technical merits).

Just turned on Image editing.

I'm starting to learn how to PP so all the comments are really helpful.

And I'm really eager to learn all the artistic/technical merits ARGYLE so its not derogatory at all.

It was taken with a 1000D and the basic 15-55 mm lens. I'll post the rest of the specs later.
Thanks All

Angle of the shots coulda been a little better... #2 would look way better without that huge flare distraction on her forehead =x
