Great panning Dave, they look great. That #50 was a little screamer!
It was good to meet you and put a face to the name.
I'm still processing mine.

Nice shots Dave!

I'm not surprised #50 is a screamer. RS 125 chassis with what looks like an MX engine slotted in......it's far removed from my bucket racing days on a cb-125 with a 150 big bore kit!

There is a similar class of uber buckets over here too. I think bucket racing over here was drawn from the kiwis originally.

Good meeting you too Blair. I am still processing more. Overall I am pretty satisfied with my results from the day.

Is this what you mean ?? There were 2 classes running on the day. TRUE buckets (notice the sellotape and the wire holding the thing together) and the larger, flasher, faster but yet still pretty cheap bikes.

I haven't been involved for years, but they have a new class that basically is anything goes, like using 125 GP chassis like #50 has, and of course the original "dunger" class.

#50 has a Derbi 50cc engine in it. MX engines are not allowed as they are too powerfull!
We have 3 classes here in NZ, 50cc, 100cc watercooled and 150cc aircooled classes. Although 125 aircooled two strokes are allowed to run with the 150s.
It was a fun day. I was guttered I had to go early.
I'm glad you are happy with your shots Dave. That 7D with the 70-200 is a nice bit of kit.
