I'm wondering what two rectangular ND filters would fit me best. I don't have money for any more, at the moment, so right now I'm looking for two. I am trying to get more into nature/landscape photography this Summer and I will be shooting during the day and at night...not so much in the morning (I'm 17, I need my sleep ). Help me choose two!

Thanks

Look at the Singh Ray Galen Rowell 3 stop soft. I have that one and find it quite useful with landscapes.

Do you mean ND or graduated ND? I own and use the Lee 3-stop hard GND and find it excellent - no colour cast, easy to clean and it's been dropped on rocks numerous times with no effect. Much cheaper than the Singh Ray alternatives.

Assuming that you mean 'GND' filters, and the fact that you're on a budget, consider Hitech filters. They're very good filters that are moderately priced. Most folks start with a 2-stop soft and 3-stop hard gradient filters...these will cover you for most situations.

Adorama is out of Lee 3-stops and I didn't see any on B&H. Anyone have any places/links that could help me out?

Check out the websites 2filter.com or maxsaver.net for good prices on filters. Not sure if they sell what you are looking for, but they are way cheaper than B&H or Adorama. I got some filters from 2filter and they are legit. I have heard from several on this forum about maxsaver, but have not used them.

Good basic tutorial here on filters...

Lee filters and holders are in very short supply right now...difficult to get from anywhere. Even the Lee 3-filter GND kits are out of stock everywhere. Your options are pretty much limited to Hitech, Singh-Ray, or Cokin if you need them right away. Since I have already recommended Hitech as a starting point since you mentioned cost as a factor, the choice is yours...
