This is just too funny for words. Yesterday afternoon, I found a good buy on a like-new recumbent trike--my aim is to add arm powered row action:

So today--the very day AFTER the local ski hills closed, I went down the the beach for lunch on the new bike, and was amazed at all the people--looked like the middle of June. It suddenly struck me that THERE IS NOT A LEAF on any tree yet. How weird it looked. So I took this, Sigma 12-24mm at 12, 40D, handheld. I did nothing to the shot, just uploaded it to Flickr
