Greatness is difficult to appreciate from close up. The great mountain on the horizon is only the ground when you are standing on it.

Thanks, I took 5 shots of #4, all turned out similar just different focusing areas.

1,2,4,& 5 are exceptional. And that's coming from someone who sees and takes alot of flower shots. Very well done.

3 is missing detail at the base of the flower and is perhaps too centered. The composition is not pleasing and the subject is not as attractive, at least to me. 6 has too shallow DOF, the whole flower is not in focus plus the white in the background is too much. 7 is better than I gave credit for but I picked out the green 'box' in the background right away and its hard lines are distracting. All in all not editing issues so much as composition and technique issues. If you compare 5 to the rest of the group, I think you can pick up the shortcomings. 5 is the best of the lot to me although the gray line in the middle could go. But overall it is a sharp image, the color is good and the composition is pleasing.
