I have a quick question about seamless background paper. I am going to attempt to make a create a quick set up in my garage for a roll of 107" wide x 12 yards seamless paper. There are TWO dimensions I need to know before going forward and ordering a roll (i'd like to make sure it will work before I order). Here is what I need measured on a new or very close to new roll...

-Diameter of the roll when completely rolled up
-Diameter of the opening inside of the roll that a crossbar would go through (I am going to buy some sort of pole from the hardware store to hold it)

What I am going to end up doing if the dimensions work is buy two strong hooks to attach to the garage wall that will hold the bar I buy with the paper attached to it. I just need to know if I am going to have clearence for the roll (it is going in kind of a strang place). Thanks in advance!

I happen to have a roll in storage. It ships in a 4 inch square box so I would guess the diameter of a full roll is a little less that 4 inches. I connect mine to 2 inch PVC pipe for use with the Bogen background system. If not using some sort of background system, I would suggest you tape the paper to a piece of PVC pipe of at least 1 1/2 inches and then run your "rod" through this.

I'm receiving my rolls on Friday. I'll tell you the exact dimension then.
I just hope that I bolted my wall bracket at the right location
