I posted a couple of shots of this Chevy custom last week, here's a couple more.....didn't attract much comment last time and I'm surprised, I reckon it's a stunning car.....the photos aren't too shabby either if I say so myself heh heh.

Certainly conjurs up images of cruising in the sixties. And with six Stromberg 94 carburators? Yeah, VERY era correct. ;) :D

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Hi Frank, yes a couple errors there when I really enlarged the tif! One was my tripod reflected in the fornt fender, and myself just on the arch of the rear spat, the other bulges in the middle are some trees on the other side of the road. I didn't bring my chainsaw with me on this shoot, maybe next time! I'll certainly make sure my tripod is well out of the way in future. This is what I really enjoy about this forum, you guys pick up on these things. I'm not very experienced in shooting cars as you can tell! I was intending to submit this shoot to some car mags for consideration of future features, I think more practice is needed.
Roger.

Gorgeous shots, mate. What a car! You've done very well.

So are you doing Greazefest again this year?

...a couple errors there when I really enlarged the tif! One was my tripod reflected in the fornt fender,

On an exceptional car I might PS some of that out, but usually I'll look for an angle that shows the least amount of junk in the reflection. You could put a 30X40" black card in front of the tripod & hide behind it, but I'm not out there to make a big production out of it at a car meet, though I might use a length of black cloth if I was being paid to shoot it. The only way to get rid of all the reflections is to shoot in a studio & put reflections where you want them.
People are easier though. I've waited 5 minutes for them to go away. The owners I just ask to move.
Cars reflect everything. Just a fact of life! ;)

And with six Stromberg 94 carburators?

Bruce, you had me reaching for an old J.C.Whitney catalog to verify whether they were 94's or 97's! Then I had a "Waitaminute" moment! He may have an excellent memory, but it's not that good. So I looked again... :D

What? You cant tell by just looking?
I guess I just have an eye for detail. (Have a look at the license plate. ;) )
