Sweet. Thanks judges!

Not criticizing, but I just don't know how WaFp got left out from the top four. What an amazing shot...

Thank you to the judges! Congrats to Matt, Jake & Victor as well. As been stated, a very strong week that could have gone a variety of ways. I'm honored to have been selected.

Congrats to the winners and I liked that image to. Reminded me a bit of Clearing Storm by Adams without the snow and storm clouds.

It is a great photo as demostrated by your fellow shooters. As anything that involves humans judging, things will be subjective. This photo could very well be a highly purchased post card, a lovely wall mounted photo almost anywhere, and it is a photo that I would stop and look at (and remember). It just had some tough competition. To me, photo speaks to me or it doesn't. I love to shoot people, sports, action and such so I am sure that plays into how I vote. Really good photos of people move me. Really well composed photos move me. Like I said, there were some outstanding photos submitted this week.

Great photo submitted by WaFp and I look forward to seeing many more.

Anyway, like I was sayin', corn is the fruit of the prairie. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There', uh, corn-kabobs, corn creole, corn gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple corn, lemon corn, coconut corn, pepper corn, corn soup, corn stew, corn salad, corn and potatoes, corn burger, corn sandwich. And there's corn on the cob too...I guess that's about it.

I photograph to find out what something will look like photographed.
