You have to question anything east of the Rockies. :)

EDIT: Actually, the Coast Range...

Heh! That sounds picky, but if you think about it...:)!

have you sold any photos, Victor?

I have about 10 large framed prints spread across two galleries that they have purchased, one of the galleries also displayed some in a show earlier in the year, these were my own and I sold 5 A2 prints..........have a show coming up in early November ;)

Never been to Chicago. I find it hard between London and New York for the best cities I have been to. Paris, Milan and Tokyo follow closely though.

Keep it up and a big congrats. WTG.....

Its so much work exhibiting though a couple of sales can make it all worth while. Its is so expensive even if you cut your own mats and buy the frames and frame yourself. And then the gallery cut and theres not much $$$ left for the actual work.

I get a good deal from the galleries on framing etc. plus they only charge me once a shot has sold, 20% for the gallery cut over here, dunno about you guys over there.

Art shows & fair's are a different thing all together though, as you can rent the space of the gallery and put up your own work etc. they take no cut ;)

I was in a really big photo exhibit a couple years back (Nov 08 ). I had a very large diptych which consisted of two 36 X 54 inch horizontal pieces that were flush mounted on 1/4 inch masonite and one was hung over the other and with some space between the two were almost floor to ceiling I haven't had much time lately but at one point I was in an exhibit at least once a year. Heres some press on what was my most publicized exhibit. From Sept 04 IIRC.

Heres the articles on the show that made the papers.

I've been working on a project that I hope to exhibit late next year.
