I was in a really big photo exhibit a couple years back (Nov 08 ). I had a very large diptych which consisted of two 36 X 54 inch horizontal pieces that were flush mounted on 1/4 inch masonite and one was hung over the other and with some space between the two were almost floor to ceiling I haven't had much time lately but at one point I was in an exhibit at least once a year. Heres some press on what was my most publicized exhibit. From Sept 04 IIRC.

Heres the articles on the show that made the papers.
Local Oak Park papers

part one

part 2

Chicago Trib

Just a few others over the years.

I've been working on a project that I hope to exhibit late next year.

Very cool!

Way to go, Victor, and Allen, that's very cool to have that work in your background -- hope you are successful in this next endeavor! Just don't forget to remove any watermarks:):)!!

Trust me Tony, I take a lot of pride in my work and I only show what I want to be seen especially in my personal work in an exhibit so there are no watermarks to begin with. Presentation is everything. ;)

Thats a very, very small sampling of shows I've had one man and group shows. Probably some of my favorites exhibits have been shows that have had many different disciplines. I was in a few exhibits a few years back where there were music and performing artists, sculptors, painters and mixed media. Just to be able to talk with all of those other very creative people about the creative process is amazing.

GO VICTOR. Good luck and keep producing those wonderful images.

WTG Victor and Allen, two consumate professionals!

Galleries, me? Heck, I'm still trying to figure out white balance...

I've had one piece in the local CC gallery for a class I was taking...got extra credit. I had submitted 2 13x19s for this gallery showing, the one they selected was a rather run-of-the-mill mother/son portrait. My other piece, one I am most proud of, caused a minor stink with the judges. 18 judges hated it, and the other 2 judges absolutley loved it...put a smile on my face.

Otherwise, I'm just your run-of-the-mill snapshot taker.

I like it like that.
