I have a Sigma 50mm f1.4 and a 24-70L f2.8 that go to a 5dc body.
Since the 5dc has a good useable ISO up to 1600, do you think the Sigma is redundant? The bokeh on Sigmalux is great, and so as the L. (Shooting portrait on people basically start at f2.8 for me- Do most of you prefer the bokeh of Sigmalux or the 24-70L ?)
My budget is tight and it seems like I need a little bit of reach shooting my sons Taekwondo. I`m thinking of giving up the Sigma for a LONGER lens such as 100mm F2 or pls. give me any idea what to get? Zooms are welcome, as long as it has a nice IQ and faster aperture like f2.8.
Budget-wise, around the same price as my Sigmalux.

Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks!

The zoom choices for a telephoto would probably start with the 70-200 f/2.8. The 100mm f/2, 85mm f/1.8 or the 135mm would be nice choices and make excellent portrait lenses as well. If you don't use the 50mm wider than 2.8, it seems a little redundant, although it is sharper at 2.8 than the 24-70. As for bokeh, the sigma has very nice bokeh, but so does the 24-70. I don't really think the sigma has necessarily better bokeh, but it is very smooth.
