This morning before leaving for work I noticed the Swallows flying around the field behind the house. I went out to briefly try my luck at some BIF shots... and they stopped flying around. But one posed on a an old fence post at the corner of the field. I had to oblige.

This evening after work we were out for a walk (with my camera in hand of course :)) and this Bluebird kept appearing... but staying just slightly out of optimal distance for my lense. I captured a shot anyhow.

I still want a quality flying Swallow shot and a much better Bluebird shot. But this is fun stuff!

Thanks Dave. The sun was at low angles for both shots. One morning, one evening.

Nice shooting Dave, great backgrounds too!

I wish I had backgrounds like that on the shots I actually work at :D. These two shots were catch as catch can type opportunities. Thanks for the compliment Steve.
