I'm looking to start doing some remote work with my sports photography. I came across this website www.fplate.net (external link). wondering if anybody knows anything about them. seems legit. thought since they are offering a discount for pre-production I might give it a shot.

I know a guy on another forum that said he knows the guy. Just checking if anyone else knows anything.

So why not buy a stock piece of steel or aluminum and drill and tap a hole in it? What would be the advantage?

If I had a drill I guess I could do that. Seems easy enough..
