My buddy just finished up his air system on his '65 so we took advantage of one of the first really nice days of the year. Just one for the moment, still going through them. Played with this one a bit and think it came out pretty well. Resizing it made it look a bit noisy however. I'll throw some more up as I go through them.

So much dead space to the top right, crop it out leaving more room infront of the car would help, possibly cropping itso the sign is in the top right corner could work, not at my pc just now to try it personally.

Thanks guys. Rob, it's all custom air, no drop spindles, splines dropped etc, but it does have a 2" (I think) tranny lift. It's pretty neat to see the shift rod linkage go all the way from the shifter back to the transmission right between the seats :)

Just another crop and sign placement for now. I can't decide if I like this one better or not. Maybe too much emphasis on the sign

Is it a WA car? Any build threads on any of the aircooled or VW forums?

Both backgrounds are pretty busy for me. Looking at the fenders, I'm guessing that the other side looks worse? :D

"Worse" is a relative term I suppose. I love the patina, but some don't see it the same way. There's something to be said about show quality paint, but you can always repaint a car, stock paint only happens once in a car's lifetime, and there ain't no goin' back to it after a reshoot! :) OG paint just screams "survivor" to me, like the car could tell you a million stories. To each his own though!

It is a WA car, but there aren't any build threads (or probably even progress pictures) anywhere. My buddy's not really an "internet" guy. Cars/bikes/boats only.

I'll get another pic or 2 up tonight, I'm at my school laptop w/o my photos. If this one is too busy though, look out for the rest!

I love how both turned out. I always liked shots of cars in downtown areas or down allys or ran down places.

One more. First time through, and I'm not really liking the light on the ass end...
