Here's a few shots from today, I have to say I'm dissappointed with them, I made the mistake of buying a cheapy skylight filter for my zoom and they're nowhere near as clear as they ought to be

Jul 19, 2005 13:01 | #14 Good job, it would be nice to see some of that hardware at US shows. I have to say though, just so no to filters. That's what the lense hood is for. Never used them, never will. 7D, 5D MKIII, 17-40 f/4L, 24-70 f/2.8L, 70-200 f/2.8L IS, 300 f/2.8L IS, 500 f/4L IS, 1.4xII, 2.0xII

I have the 75-300 IS and although it's not bad, unless you get it really cheap then sell it for what you bought it for, I'd save for the L. That's what I'm doing, will sell the 75-300 when I get within striking distance to get the 100-400mm L (or 400mm prime or 300mm prime, as yet not totally decided.) The results from both are night and day.
