After 3 miserable days of rain, winds and overcast skies, this morning was a photographer's dream. We were greeted with soft lighting, little or no wind and birds at Plantation Preserve - a park that runs through a golf course in Plantation Florida.

Stan and I got some spectacular shots. Here are some images taken with my Canon 70-200mm f/4L lens:

Those are really great, Tony. That lens did a really good job for you. I'll be days (or longer) getting to today's shots, but it was good being out there with you.

This "trusty" Canon 70-200mm f/4L has surprised me many times. Even with heavy cropping I was still able to get decent images.

It was great meeting you and I enjoyed the "bird watching" stroll. The weather was perfect for the occasion.

Anxious to see your images especially that "yellow" bird.
