I know these posts are common and get old but.........Whoo! I can't wait! Now the hard part is stopping myself from refreshing the tracking page over and over...Haven't been this excited in ages!

The bad part...now I cant buy anything else cause I gotta save up for a ring for my girl! Well, maybe just the 85mm when the sigma 1.4 comes out....and some more lighting can't hurt...and maybe a 35L...someone stop the madness!

Congrats! It's a very nice camera. And you can't go wrong with the 35L, that would be a perfect lens for your new camera :D

(Also, update your signature ;))

I just ordered mine too! Question is... should I sell the 7d or keep it?

Keep it, the 5D mark II is no replacement for a 7D. They are supplemental to each other and serve different purposes.

Yep, keep it. I just got a 5DII for landscapes, will keep the 40D for wildlife. They each have their own purpose.

I would love to keep both, but the 7d can fund more lens, which I am really short of. Most notably a 17-40 and possibly a 24-70 or an 85 1.8. But yes, they do different things and if I am able to do it, I want to keep both.

Congratulations :)

I'm sure you'll fall in love with it quickly :)

If you have the lenses in the sig I'd suggest sticking with them for a little while, they'll all do you fine for a start, of course f2.8 or f1.2 would be nicer, but mere mortals can't print money.
