Thanks for the comments guys... I really Love aviation - and as such try not to post as little rubbish as I can, with the sun been out here in the UK for the last few weeks (its now back to normal) LOL
it really makes a huge difference to pictures
Jackal the Phantom shot, was on a bit of a murky sort of a day and my other shots were coming out backlit and overexposed etc
so I took a meter reading from the runway.. and one from the grass - dialled in the settings somewhere between the 2 readings -- and the Phantom shot was a nearly two stops over exposed, that is the beauty of Raw - shots that would of been bin fodder can be saved etc with 2 mins in Photoshop

difficult to put an exact distance, but the pilot took off and 'veered left' from the runway, and came straight over our heads at about maybe 150mtrs above us

the 3rd shot is a Hawker Hunter and it gave a fabulous display.. it was only 1 of three appearances at an Airshow in the UK this year, so we were treated to something very special
I am also a big Mustang fan as well and got some other really nice shots of them
I will dig a few more out
thanks again
Chris
