Question for Bing shopping/BCB users

You can browse the stores and their respective BCB percentage in the shopping section of bing.com. Some stores are listed at a fixed percentage while others will have a percentage range listed. When you go to any of these stores and find an item you like and want to purchase, is there a way to review the BCB amount that you will recieve before confirming the purchase (at the retailer's website)? I know sometimes you have to go through most of the checkout process in order to see discounts and such, but especially when shopping on stores that have been listed with a BCB cashback range back at bing.com, it would be better for me, financially speaking, if I knew how much BCB I am going to get just before ultimately purchasing the item. Or does bing do a wait-and-see approach such that you don't find out how much your BCB award is until after you've purchased your item and the pending amound shows up in your account?

Not that I've been able to find with the camera stores like Adorama - you don't know until after you buy. When I see something like 3-10% I assume 3% and count anything over that as a bonus. Some retailers such as Sears show you the cashback in the shopping cart.

I've found that if you know what you want to buy, do a search and let Bing pull it out. When you do this, it will show the item and the amount of BCB for any retailer that carries it.

Ah ha! I just ran a search on bing.com "canon 28mm adorama" and in the sponsered link sections was an adorama link with the BCB logo icon. I clicked on the blue "bing cashback" text and got a new tab with a pop-up saying that purchases would get 4% cashback (adorama is listed as a range 3%-10% on the retailer's list in the shopping section of bing) then the adorama site.

Check to see if they have the item listed on eBay. If they do you get 8% plus 2% eBay bucks.

They don't have this particular lens I've been looking at at the moment and when they did, they didn't offer free shipping on eBay like they do through their website (at least on this lens...other items ship free). So I have to factor in the cost of shipping versus the BCB amount. Usually eBay BCB is still the better deal rather than bing.com BCB.

Those seem to be in short supply lately and when they are some sellers are gouging for them. I opted for generic versions. I get about 800 shots on the 5D2 and over 1000 on the 7D with a fully charged battery. There are some good generics out there, of course the one drawback is that you don't get any battery info. I use them as backups.

They seem to be restricting it to certain search terms. Try this:
